Welcome to the official page of the US Rucking (USR), the premier governing body dedicated to the development and promotion of Rucking within the United States. As an unofficial child organization of the USA Track & Field® (USATF), we operate under their national guidelines while adding to their rules where necessary to focusing on the unique growth and regulation of rucking at the national level.
Mission Statement
US Rucking aims to foster the growth of rucking by promoting competitive excellence and popular engagement in our sport within a safe environment by ensuring fair and equal competition through standardized competition guidelines, promoting integrity, fairness, and sportsmanship in every aspect of the sport.
Our Relationship with USATF
US Rucking is not affiliated with nor are we in any way part of USATF. However we have adopted as our base competition rules the USATF; bylaws, rules and regulations. Where applicable we align our policies and initiatives with their national standards. When necessary we add rules and regulations pertaining specifically to the unique demands of our sport of rucking. Our long-term hope is to be officially recognized as a sub-discipline of and governed by the USATF ultimately eliminating the need for US Rucking all together
